FROM BASKETS TO BEERS...

A much loved Brighton institution, the Basketmakers Arms holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Brimming with history, this 19th century pub offers a vast array of drinks and delicious food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere to a eclectic mix of guests.

A haven for Brighton’s beer lovers and a sought out destination for visitors to Brighton. With an outstanding selection of cask ales, draught lagers, wines, single malts, spirits and softs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Award winning food is available every day so pop by and see what all the fuss is about.

Named Brighton Pub of the Year in 2014 & 2015, The Basketmakers Arms has also been featured in The Times and The Telegraph. The Observer named us one of the top six pubs in the country.
Why not pay us a visit and find out for yourself what make this place so special.

We wish a very happy retirement to the legendary landlord “Blue”  who ran the pub for almost 30 years (which may be one of the reasons for the pub’s unique, friendly atmosphere.) It's cosy proportions make it almost impossible not to find yourself in conversation with people on neighbouring tables.

The Basketmakers has recently joined the Good Times Pubs & Bars family. As an independently owned & operated pub group based in Brighton, we know what makes the Basketmakers tick and look forward to welcoming you all in for a pint soon.
